Finally found a flip clock in the original Hawaii Five-O TV show in Season 9 Episode 1 - "Nine Dragons"
The clock can be found on the desk of D.W. Blake - Chief Superintendent of the United Kingdom CID (Central Intelligence Division) in Hong Kong in 1976 (played by David Tomlinson - most notable for being in the movie, Mary Poppins).
The clock is a Tokyo Tokei "Bell Alarm Clock."

Tokyo Tokei brand was owned by the Tokyo Watch manufacturing Co. in (which arose in 1951) and was backed by the Orient Watch company in 1975 and onward. In 1983 Orient Watch company faltered and in 1984 Tokyo Tokei was liquidated.
The word "tokei" means clock or watch in Japanese. The symbols used in Japanese for tokei are 時計 and consists of the symbols for "time" and "measure.

In "Goodfellas" there is this flip clock visible at ~1:15:15, not sure on the model though.

Hello,

I noticed a flip clock in the film "Quiet Earth" (https://www.imdb.com/de/title/tt0089869/ ).

The clock is seen in the first minutes of the film when Zac Hobson awakens and realizes that the world around him has changed.

It seems to me to be a (battery-operated) Seiko QN401T with a black case. That fits, too, since no cable can be seen in the film.

during a retro TV evening while watching Outer Limits Season 1 I saw this clock. I can't say which model it is. On the right is probably a switch for the alarm? ON OFF AUTO

This Beautiful Fantastic is a British romantic drama film from 2016 that features a Twemco BQ-58 rebranded as "Grayson".



The movie is about a young lady with an obsessive-compulsive disorder. The role of the large digital clock is of course to show us her obsession with time.

Around 15 minutes in the movie there is a closeup that reveals the branding:



Grayson is located in Kent UK and has been manufacturing, installing and servicing clocks since 1822 (https://www.graysonclocks.com).
The clock looks to me like a rebranded Twemco-BQ58, although one little detail struck me: the little blinking LED is in a different position. Maybe there have been slight variations of this clock over time.

Good film btw, worth seeing, although it may be a bit too sweet to some peoples taste.
