Yeah, the 801 and 802 are two of my almost favorite Copal clocks. I have been lucky enough to buy, own (and sell) a few over the years and as we speak I have one for spares, but they are rare and a lot of time people want top dollar/euro for them, unrestored. I was negotiating with someone for one last week but he was at 150 GBP (aro 200 USD I think) for basically a parts clock and he would not come down much so I passed on it

Watching some SCARFACE highlights and noticed what I looks like a Copal 801 on the shelf unit behind Frank Lopez just before he is killed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9cWhCU-Fq0 The clock appears to be switched on as it flips at 8:23 Clearest view is at 10:50

That's interesting as most of the prop clocks are not running, I assume for continuity issues over multiple takes.

Yeah, the white case.. the only other examples I can find is the green.
