    Greetings from Vermont

Stumbled across this forum while looking for repair information for a Copal 229 I bought off of eBay a few years ago. Thanks to Mackey's videos, I learned how to oil the motor, replace the bulb, and fix a broken tile I found inside the case. It's purring away great now!

I am also a fan of vintage Sony audio equipment from the 60's and 70's and decided to look for a Sony flip clock. I ended up getting a TFM-C650W Digimatic clock radio with a non-flipping clock. Again, thanks to a Flip Clock Fans posting, I was able to get it fully functional and looking great. Interestingly enough, I also found a glued in "spare" time adjust knob inside the case which I needed. I'm thinking these weren't glued in as a spare but served some other purpose (?).

Anyway, I have a feeling flip clocks are like potato chips... you can't have just one!
