Hello Everyone!
I recently acquired a Panasonic RC-6025 and I'm eager to begin the restoration process. I've been a long-time observer, but this is my first time owning a vintage clock radio.
I'm pretty excited to get started! One issue I've noticed is that the switch from AM to FM is a bit sticky and doesn't work very well. I haven't tested the alarm functionality yet, but the clock is keeping time accurately.
My restoration approach aims to strike a balance between improving and cleaning the device without causing any irreversible damage. (For example, I considered using Retr0bright but decided against it due to the potential for accelerated yellowing.)

Restoration Plan:

- Clean the circuit board with isopropyl alcohol to remove dust and dirt
- Lubricate any components that may need it
- Replace capacitors, if necessary
- Replace burnt-out light bulb
- Fix sticky switches (I've heard contact cleaner works well)
