I believe that this is made by Pierre Bodet only number on it is a patent number 3834151 it is 41 inches long and 12 wide and very heavy need schematic does not work wondering if batteries are bad any help?

Welcome to the forum! I don't know a great deal, but is it possible that this is a "slave" clock and therefore needs a "master" clock to work? At that size, it seems likely it was installed in a public area, banking hall or large office/factory, so it might very be a "slave" unit. I'm sure some of the others, with greater knowledge, will add more to this, but they will also probably ask you if you have any more photos, particulary of the inside of the unit.- Translate

That is a massive flip clock, would be great to get that going.
If it runs on batteries they're going to be big ones, maybe SLA's (Sealed Lead Acid)
