Here is a Cosmo flip digit clock that does seem to work. When plugged-in, the digits flip and the led lights up, and it's keeping time so far. The motor is not silent: I can hear it when I hold the clock up to my ear, but not when I walk away from it (my sense of hearing is not great anymore). The digits can be changed by turning the knob on the side of the case. While adjusting the time, I heard the alarm sound briefly.
There are two chips to the case (see the last two pictures) and some light scratches. The power cord is in good condition. The plug is 2 prong standard US type. The clock case is approximately 6.75" (206mm) wide x 3.5" (89mm) deep x 3.375" (86mm) high.
