Ok, that's really strange. It looks like a generic clock movement laid on one side and modified to tell time with the cylinder on the spindle.

And the insect??? I don't know what to make of that! lol

They make these for birds and fish too- some factory in China must be churning them out as there's a million of them available if you start searching "novelty clock" these days.
