    Zenith Cabinet Clock

Sometime many years ago, someone at Zenith said "hey, we should make a clock radio that looks like a cabinet." This was the result.

I've seen a lot of clocks that are "designed" in such a way to hide things like speakers and buttons, but... I don't know, whatever logic there was to making the large speaker grill look like wooden doors is lost on me. For those interested in it, the eBay listing is HERE.

To be clear, I don't think it's "bad" looking, but... man, that is mighty strange.

Wow. I mean...WOW. I have never seen something like this from Zenith...and they made some weird cabinets back in the 60s and 70s. Before Zenith moved production overseas their build quality was very, very good.

Not many out there. Probably not a big seller.

Kind of at a loss for words, but yeah, it is kinda cool.

Maybe the idea was to put it inside a dolls house?
