    Hello from Switzerland.

    Dear all,

    (Sorry for my English)
Flip clocks from the 60s to the 80s have always fascinated me.
    Especially Copal and National/Panasonic.
I'm 53 years old and still remember the Copal alarm clocks on my parents' bedside tables back then.
Some of my passions are Japan, Switzerland, the mountains, ski lifts, cats, walking (hiking), and running. I also enjoy consumer electronics. I primarily buy Panasonic/Technics, otherwise Sony. I've been to Japan 13 times since 1992 (too many tourists now), and my interest began thanks to the MSX standard. I've always had Panasonic alarm clocks, of course, but now, like many, I use a Sony Xperia 1 VII, which has replaced so many other devices.
So I buy a little less electronics than before.
I'd like to congratulate and thank you for this forum. With social media (I recently quit Facebook), there are fewer traditional forums than before, but I still manage to find things for my passions! However, Reddit is too general and not very popular in Europe or Asia. Even though I'm a Panasonic/Technics fan (National disappeared in 2008), for me, Copal best represents our passion for flip clocks.
Unfortunately, I can't find a real history of Copal online (the company's founding and closure dates) or a chronology of its models!
Do you know if such a thing exists? What was the last model available? The top-of-the-line model?

I'm not looking to collect them, given the prices, but your fan sites make me dream, and I'm happy with my 705L. (I'm hesitating to buy a 128, but is it inferior to the 705L?) Thank you for your answers, and thank you also for your website, YouTube channel, and even though I'm also a fan... Thank you for everything!
