Hello everyone. Been reading on here for a while, and I'm trying to get a Panasonic black light clock to work. You know, the one Macky did that said he hopes he never sees another one ever again? Yeah, that one. OK, on to the issue. Copal motor winding was open upon inspection. Great. Actually found another copal motor on eBay, but not of same type. My thinking: that's alright, I'll swap gear boxes. My issue now is that the plate attached to the copal motor is reversed (at minimum) and is not compatible with my clock. Is there a good way to remove the backing plate from the old motor and install on the new(er) motor, other than grinding off each plate? This is the only way i can think to make this work out. Advice/recommendations appreciated. Thanks! - Brian
