    Newbie from eastern Oregon

Hello from eastern Oregon. I’ve loved flip clocks since I was young, and I’m glad to have found this site. I just got this clock today from a Japanese seller and I’m thinking of replacing the neon bulb with a UV LED strip like I did on my Sony Digimatic. What do you think? Thanks!

Howdy...Some of those Sankyo-powered movements found in Citizen and Seiko flip clocks are not UV reactive even though they look like they are.

I shone a blacklight on it and it lit up bright green.

Hi welcome. If you do it would cool to see some inside pics of how you wire it.

I'd go for it. Hope to see how it turns out.
