    Sankyo 401 and 412 motors

Good morning, need some help with sankyo 412 and 401 clocks. I have 6 of them that I'm refurbishing. Both models have the telechron motors, number on tag says gbh6b1 and I'm unable to find replacement. I carefully took the motors apart to clean out the dried grease and lubricate with quality clock oil. Only 2 out of 6 have gears in great condition. 4 have the tiny gear for center shaft that has the 3 evenly spaced discs that spin the gears by the magnetism, those tiny gears have deteriorated. Is it possible to get those gears for replacement?

That is going to be a tough one, but you can try: www.telechronclock.com

This man mostly works the American market (hence being 110v/60hz), but possibly also has parts for 220v/50hz?

I am pretty sure that he will be able to supply you with what you need, it will be pricey though :-) But hey, better expensive than not available at all, right?

I'm really hoping to hear how this plays out.

Just wondering whether, given the above dried grease issue (both with cyclometer and flip-clock motors), should all newly acquired clocks be flushed with IPA (and lubed) as a matter of course? I've recently posted about a slow Artin flip-clock that was fixed with a flush and lube, so I'm beginning to think that I will do this for all my clocks, regardless of whether they appear to be running smoothly or not. What do others do?
