    Sunbeam DT-3

..or a DT-C depending on which part of the tag you believe.

I'd never seen one of these before. Picked it up at an area junk shop even though it didn't run. But the ride home over bumpy roads must have jarred the cobwebs loose. Plugged it in and it spun right up! Neon bulb even works. Still planning to clean and lube it and try to buff out some of the scratches in the lens.

That is a gorgeous clock! It would be very interesting to see what type of clockwork is inside!

With regard to the bumpy ride home, it has happened many times that I had a non-working flipclock sent to me only for me to unwrap it, plug it in and tadaa! it is working again... Of course it would still need a clean and some lube, but it can be fun indeed.

It appears to be a good ol' Copal mechanism. I'll post a photo once it's apart.

I thought it was pretty mod, wish the yellow part wasn't so scratched up. I searched for similar models/color schemes and only found one image on Etsy- but it had been given the HGTV treatment.

Runs quietly now after a drop or two of oil. Surprisingly good condition after cleaning off all the scuzz!

And now this actual clock can be yours!

          I thought it looked familiar.

Yes, it ends tomorrow! I also gave up on the Electro Brand project and listed it- not sure what's wrong with that one.

That looks super interesting on the inside, it appears to be very similar to the clockwork found in the Copal model 703.
