    Caslon model 601 day colors

    Hello all,

Very new to this forum. I own an inoperative Caslon model 601 and will need advice on it later. For now, can anyone enlighten me on why the "day" indication is accompanied by a different color for each day? Before I retired, Mondays were always blue. Ha!

    Regards,
    Bob

There seems to be a connection to elements and a associated color in Japanese as well, that might be part of it if the colors line up.

Like Monday (moon) Yellow, Tuesday (fire) orange/red?, Wednesday (water) is a light blue, Thursday (Tree) green... So perhaps?
