    Flip clock flop :(

    Hello all from the UK
What a great site you have! Im
looking forward to exploring more.. but more pressing issues are to hand.
I am looking for a replacement motor for
my long trusted flip clock. Can anyone help me? The local vintage electric repairer
    wont touch it!

I might possibly have a motor for you but need some more info. What model/make clock is it from and do you have a picture of the other side of the motor? The side where the motor resides?
Did it stop spinning or is it still spinning?

It very likely only needs some oil as Engineer notes.

Hello all, I a member so all good
The motor is still spinning but the white cogs are not. It was an intermittent fault and now is permanent. I know it’s a Goldstar, I will get some more photos this evening for everyone.

Thanks for the extra info. I do not know that particular clock or have had it here, but from your description it sounds like a gear has worn out inside the gearbox of the motor. This is essentially repairable.

Not in the UK, I am one island to the left from you (ROI), but I do offer a repair service, if you want more info on that, please send me a personal/private message.
