Made In Japan Design! An Analog Catalog Of 70s Household Appliances Pocket Book

Here's a book called Made In Japan Design! An Analog Catalog Of 70s Household Appliances
Perhaps you've come across it before, you'll find copies on Amazon and Ebay. The main thing about this book is it's small, 4.25" wide by 6", 10cm by 15cm.
This limits the amount you can make out on the pages, but gives a general overview of ad styles. It covers a wide range of appliance types and has 325 pages. The book is marked as 1,500 yen, I paid $17.00 the beginning of last year on amazon. Not sure I would recommend at some of the prices I see currently ($40). Below are some sample pages related to clocks.

as you can see the text is blurry, smaller text is hard to make out and would not be suitable for translation.

Click image for larger version Name:	70sbook-5.jpg Views:	0 Size:	271.2 KB ID:	20488
Click image for larger version Name:	70sbook-6.jpg Views:	0 Size:	202.0 KB ID:	20489

If you find it at a reasonable price, it's a fun little book to flip through about Japanese 70s advertising.
Books on this subject are not plentiful, no matter the size. If anyone knows of other books on the subject
I would be interested to know about them!

that is one cool book that I would love to own! How to actually search for it, that is the question

EDIT: Just managed to buy it for 25GBP including shipping from a Dutch online bookshop (of all places). Many thanks for the tip!

Glad you found it. Here's the ISBN if anyone else is looking for it in the future: ISBN 978-4-86152-609-1 Amazon Link

The author is Junichi Matsuzaki. His site, the best I can tell is https://www.dug-factory.com/
Seems to be into tape decks and boomboxes, especially. There is a similar book covering boomboxes.
