Sony Clock Radio Models Booklet 1975

    Alarmists
Copy from the 1975 booklet: People spend a third of their life in bed and ALARMIST clock radios help them both go to sleep and wake up. Almost every model has the SONY Sleep Timer feature that turns the radio off after lulling them to sleep. To wake them up there are radio, buzzer and combination alarms. There are Snooze Bar Timing for an extra 40-winks and 24-hour automatic alarm-set systems and there are AM, FM and Weatherband radios.

If there has ever been a market that cannot be saturated, it is radios. From sixteen to sixty, people have made radio an integral part of their lives. Wherever they go, whatever they do, they demand a radio that can be with them to provide the information, the entertainment, the companionship that is so important to their ways of living.

Sony serves the total radio market with the SPECIALISTS.... radios designed to go wherever people go, to fit their lifestyles, to meet their special needs.

Nice, thanks for that! Never seen the C450W in woodgrain before, cool!

Man this is good stuff and much appreciated!
But it's bumming me out that I only own two of the clocks pictured. (I need to get a grip)

        Anyway...

This stuff really ads to the good content on this forum (of course you're ranked a "Contributor" for a reason). Thanks again.

            Currently have a TFM-C400, and a TFM-C650W. I really want a TFM-C550W, never seen one before.

I previously had a TFM-C444W, and I miss that clock. It was my first clock I got earlier in 2020 that got me into restoration. I sold it because it had a bad AM/FM switch and I couldn't find a replacement. I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

Also had a TFM-C660W, with a working original blacklight. I liked it, but the mechanisms are so unreliable, I'd never want another.

Sweet booklets. I just got a TFM-C380W. Needs some work. Does anyone happen to have a service manual?
