    Twemco series 17 plug amps

    Hi,

I am hoping that somebody will be able to let me know what plug fuse to use for a 220v Twemco Series 17.

I guessed at 3 amps but I suppose it could be 5, not sure how much power these things take to work.

I’ve been looking for one of these for a while and don’t want to damage it. I’ve looked online but can’t find anything.

    Many thanks

    Ed

I am guessing you are in the UK where you have the fuse in the plug? We have been in contact regarding your clock already, my name is Robert

3 amp should be just fine, in any case, better safe then sorry.

      Hi Robert!

You save the day again! The clock is up and running and I’m really enjoying it. It’s a bit noisy on the hour though, bit of a twanging sound, is that normal? The minutes are really quiet

it is a large clock, it is normal that it makes a bit more noise at the hour. You will get used to it
