Mackey's Great Adventure - Cataloguing the FlipClockFans Collection

No... this is not me showing off. Maybe it's more of a cautionary tale - a tale of reigning it in before this hobby takes over your basement storage! I'm on vacation this week and one of my major projects is to catalogue and hopefully organize my clocks. I'm finding things that I didn't know I had! I'm going to post them here as my adventure continues in the next few days.
Below is just part of my mess.

Here's what I've found in storage so far .... I have a pristine RC-6015 and then a simple radio ... but does anyone recognize this radio?

Just found another, what I would consider "Good+" quality 6015 and some Cifra3s (from when I was in that stage, I guess). Two are 220v and one is 120 v. I don't remember if they're working or not.

This intervention has worked..... I have realized I have a problem.

This hits a little too close to home; I've been considering doing the same with what I have... I moved houses in the last year and almost all of them are in a series of totes. The idea of getting them all out and taking a photo is a bit daunting!

Nice mess! I will be moving house within the next couple of months and will be getting a dedicated flip clock workshop (yay!) and am looking forward to a similar mess

On a different note, if you are ever looking to get 'rid' of the 220v Cifra 3's, you know where to find me

Nice find! Also would like to add that Packard Bell's straight outta Los Angeles! (Where I was vacationing over the Christmas holidays ^^)

Quoted about the Packard Bell Corporation from Wikipedia:
Based in Los Angeles, Packard Bell, along with Hoffman Radio, became well-known regional makers of consumer electronics. Leon Packard was unhappy with the direction Packard Bell Company was going and asked Herb Bell to buy his share out in 1935.[2]

Packard Bell was a family business. Bell and his four brothers Arthur, Albert, Elmer, and Willard participated in major departments including design, manufacturing and marketing.[2] The company incorporated as Packard Bell Corporation in 1946.[3]

It's not as bad (or good) as I thought
              38 nice clocks on display
exactly 50 good, working clocks in storage (now organized and safely packed away instead of laying about in boxes and crates)
57 parts clocks (plus about 8 empty RC-6030 and 6010 cases)
5 new old stock copal mechanisms (brand new)

So all told no more than 145 clocks in FlipClockFans household

Now I have them organized and catalogued so that I can find something when I need it. Yippy!

Your radio is a Packard Bell AR-851 the Gilligan’s Island radio shown here with Dawn Wells.

That's actually why I bought it.
