      A thought occurred to me- are these by chance the "glowing" tiles they had treated with radium? I seem to recall Mackey having said somewhere that some of these had been manufactured that way, though I may be mistaken.

        good thought, the numbers seem to be a bit 'radiant' (no pun intended), only two ways to find out... You ask the seller or you buy the clock

          Sometimes see them in blue as well, blue with gold or white digits. Maybe the red like this is a less common flap color.
