    A lovely little egg: Rhythm 5RD005 / LW-15

I love this clock! Unusual but very nicely shaped little alarm clock. Pity the window is cracked, but ok, I can live with that.

There is no brand name on the outside, but the mechanism is labeled Rhythm. I have seen clock online these also branded Citizen. The mechanism is identical to the one in my other Rhythm clock.

This is indeed a very nice clock. The clockwork is very sturdy and reliable, the housing unfortunately is cheaply made. Almost all of these I come across have cosmetical issues. I suspect that is one of the reasons so very few survived into the 21st century.

Having said that, I just checked my humungous pile of parts clocks and I have one of these with a cracked housing but an uncracked front 'glass'. Send me a message if you're interested.

you can convert one of these to 110v/60hz, the motors are interchangeable as are the parts for the motor. The trick is finding one of these in a good cosmetical condition...
