Here is a rather cool flip clock lamp that I recently acquired on eBay. It is unbranded apart from 'Product of Japan' stamped into the case on the bottom. Perhaps it had a brand plate that has fallen off? It uses a Copal II motor and fairly standard mechanism. The bottom is weighted to keep it stable. If anyone has an idea as to its maker please let me know.

Well ... That's different. I usually don't like those but that one looks nice. It's strange that there's not a badge on the front of the clock.
But no fear. I did a web search of the image and the interweb is pretty sure that it's a toilet.
