I've never owned an RC-6004, so when one came up for sale on eBay, I had to grab it. I've seen videos on them before, but I've never come to realize just how small they are in reality. It's actually almost smaller than my RC-6001!
It also uses a smaller mechanism and tiles than many clocks I've come across. They remind me of the RCA tower I did, or the Copal 222's flip digits. The motor drive mechanism is really cool here too, very small and compact, yet still uses a "full" copal-II motor. It's amazing how well built this is, yet how small they've made it. Metal chassis, entirely separate from the case as well.
This clock was low hours, as it has the original bulb with very little wear, and besides some FM/AM switch oxidation, and case wear, it's in perfect shape. Now to figure out, what color it will become...
