1974 Lloyd's...and this one was made in Japan

Well, most Lloyd's are made in Taiwan, Hong Kong or Singapore. Very few are made in Japan, but this one was! The build quality is better, especially on the circuit boards and soldering "neatness". Still has a few scars, but was kept in generally good condition. Needed the standard stuff done to it. So chunky!

Hey its really nice. What did you do to it. I have been looking to add Lloyd to my collection. Hows the sound. Did you replace the bulb?

Full restoration. All new capacitors, 1 transistor for the AM circuit to get working again. All new lamps, cleaned, etc.

The sound is decent as it has two speakers, one firing out of each end.
