That yellow Seiko is a racy looking piece of work, do you know what brand the mechanisms are, Copal or Seiko?

I wouldn't blame you if you haven't opened them up, though.

I've just bought a white Seiko SDA 504, which hasn't even been posted yet, but I've been told it has a Copal motor/mech.

acbaral Could you post some more images of that yellow DP 647 please, I'd like to see it from more angles.

That design really appeals to me, especially in bright yellow, it's just stunning.

Sorry, late reply. I still haven't yet opened the yellow one but once I have time I will let you know. Anyway how can I check if it has a Copal internal?

It will probably have Copal - Japan 11 on the motor rotor, I don't know about Copal 1 motors, I've never seen one.

It will probably have Copal stamped on the mech casing..

This means you have to open it up to check, it is the only way. I am 99% certain though, Seiko had several similar models of clocks in this series and I have never come across one with a non-Copal-movement...
