    Can someone help to identify this specific model and where I could get a replacement dome…. Or is that just impossible

    Hi,

    These are called Plato clocks. They were produced in Germany and the USA around 1900. It is difficult to identify the specific model because this piece appears to be missing parts(?) but it's the Plato mechanism.
    Since many different companies used this mechanism, it can be hard to categorize, similar to how many "modern" companies used Copal mechanisms.

      As a possible temporary measure, I would look for acrylic. Acrylic tubing is widely available, the only question is, is it available in a size that would roughly fit your clock.
