    Pulsating Noise Panasonic RC-6015

Hello, I have an RC-6015 that I am working on that is making a pulsating sound in-between stations. It sounds like a high pitched alien message, from high to low over and over again. When a station is selectrd the noise goes away. Any suggestions on what to test on this one?

Electrolytic capacitors in the audio or RF sections could be deteriorating, leading to instability. Look for indications of leaking or swelling at the top. Test them with a capacitance tester if you can.

Thank you very much! I will check the capacitors!

Problem solved. The pulsating was caused by a laptop power cord plugged into the power strip the clock was plugged into.
