repairer in Australia for a Lawson electric flip clock

    Hi all,
I've just joined the group. I know very little about flip clocks but I've got a beautiful art deco Lawson clock that I'd love to get repaired. I've attached a few photos below. As you can see, it's a bit battered but I still really like it.
It's an American clock but it was working here in Australia thanks to a step down transformer. It stopped working several years ago, unfortunately, and I've never found anyone able to repair it. The antique clock repairers I've approached say they don't work with electrics; the appliance repairers say they don't work with clocks. I live in Melbourne, Australia, and so I wondered if anyone here could recommend someone who might be able to fix it. Any suggestions would be gratefully welcomed!

Hello Unfortunately I can't help but have a similar problem. Did you end up finding anyone to help? I was going to try a clock repairer Clockworks (in Clayton Vic), as I've I've taken regular clocks there before (but fear I may get the same response as you've experienced).
PS Due to Australian power operating on 50 cycles & US power on 60 cycles, I think this Lawson clock would run fast even with a step up transformer to convert the voltage.
    Regards Stephen
