    Nuts on Copal flip clocks

Especially on the motor, anyone know what the correct wrench size is? An ISO 5,5 socket wrench fits well. But I would assume that this is inch, so 7/32"?

    Thank you

they're Japanese clocks, I use 5.5 which fits perfectly, but I do not have inch sockets.

I'm relieved. I thought this was a thread dissing the Copals.

No, that was a serious question. The pitch of the threads is apparently not metric and therefore the assumption that they are inch threads and nuts

there is something called the JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) metric. I kept rounding out screw heads on an old Panasonic until I was told to get a JIS screw driver set. and that worked. not sure they have JIS sockets. check on Ebay.
