Still working on my Junghans Chrono Vox S, with the motor now fixed, I took up the next task: fix the alarm. At first I did not understand why it did not work or not even how it should have worked. Only when I compared it to my other Junghans Chrono Vox S it daunted on me: that spring blade that is supposed to make all that noise was missing! How could I be that blind
I clearly had bought a pig in a poke, but would not let that defeat me. I got a bit creative with some scrap metal and some hand tools and two hours later this pig had a working alarm
I feel mine even sounds a bit better than the original (or less awful).
