Copal Seconds Sticker - free repro files

I've been lurking here for a while and have found lots of helpful info - thought this might be helpful for others.
I recreated the slanted lines seconds counter found on some Copal motors - designed to print on a P-Touch label maker. I've included the original Illustrator file and P-Touch file.
Print, cut out along bounding line, apply. The lines should still line up when label is overlapped.

P-TOUCH NOTE - P-Touch needs to be one that can interface with computer - smaller units can only print what is typed on it. Also, while they do sell black tape with white print, better
results are using white tape with black print - in this case you will want to invert the image colors. In P-Touch Editor, in Express mode - select all, on left hand side see Effects menu - select Invert.

Hi, thanks for sharing, I like the idea of using a ptouch, I have one so I'll give it a try.

Great stuff! I don't have a P-touch but might consider buying one. This design looks like the one Sony also used, also in green and red, possibly?

Great work! I don't have a P-touch printer, but maybe I can find one I can borrow.
I was playing with alternative ideas to print it on adhesive paper or to use some striped washi tape and use that at an angle (haven't tried it yet though).

I added some notes on type of P-Touch machine needed and inverting label colors.

Here is a post with information about whirligig stickers ordered from a online sticker company. I had to order a minimum from them that was more than I’ll ever need. A single sheet cut at the right angle makes five stickers. They worked really well.

If anyone needs some message me. I have both green and red.

I have wanted to find a way to replace the worn out tattered looking original whirligig stickers that I come across occasionally. Its a simple striped pattern that’s cut at a slight angle that creates the barber poll/spiraled look when the motors is running. I wasn’t sure what angle was needed to create the right look
