Has anyone ever disassembled a Copal MG-111 clock, the one with the timer for the two AC outlets on the rear of the unit? All I want to do is to be able to clean the tiles and the inside of the display window. Besides the two rotary knobs on the face being extremely tight (I'm worried they might break), there are screws in the bottom inside (that secure the mechanism carriage to the front) that are positioned parallel to the base and thread out towards the rear from the front. I have no idea how to get at those! Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Never seen one. Sorry. But typically those knobs just pull straight off.
At times not all screws you see have to be removed. Trial and error.
Good luck.~ Mackey Site Administrator

Looks like I’m off to the hardware store tomorrow. I had to take that switch out so I could get at that lower screw. I need an offset screwdriver to get it out, but the tip on mine is too big to fit into that thing. So I’m gonna have to buy one with a finer tip. There’s one similarly positioned on the opposite side. Too much of an angle to get a bite with a regular screwdriver down over the back edge of the chassis. And the gods must’ve been smiling on me when I pulled those knobs off. They were stuck super tight. But I got them anyway.- Translate

Sounds like you have a pretty good handle on it, I've never had any of these timers so can't add much either.
Here's someone elses solution to a tight spot.
Tool for Loosening/tightening Screws in Confined Spaces: I recently had to remove a couple of screws from a tape transport mechanism but had no space to fit either a conventional or ratchet screwdriver. I hit on the idea of using a 1/4" screwdriver bit from a ratchet set, a custom-drilled clothes peg and…
If you had bits that fit the screw, maybe you could do something similar?- Translate
