    Sankyo clock motor list

Sankyo clock motors sometimes have a bad reputation and rightfully so, but some are fairly robust and rebuildable. Hoping this thread can track them as well as other brands that use their movements.

Sankyo 401/501/423 - Sealed Telechron-type field coil motor (possible to swap with Telechron S-type?). No label on motor except "60c" for 60 cycles.

Sankyo 313/314/521/451/431 - Intermatic type motor. Rebuildable. Arrow Ball Clock, Kit Cat, WG-1420, Sankyo, Spa, Intermatic Motors, Repair Kit. | eBay

Two more for the list. Both of these are 240 volt, 50 cycles so the 501 must be an exception to the Telechron motor above.

Sankyo 101 - Intermatic type motor
    Sankyo Digi-Glo 501 - Intermatic type motor

Just got a Sankyo 501 with an Intermatic motor (220V, 50 Hz). Note this is different from what stated in the top post. Maybe Sankyo switched motor type or used different motors for different markets.
