Panasonic RC- 6003; need help (user manual)

    Hello folks,
I hope y'all are doing great!

I just bought a Panasonic RC- 6003 at a local thrift store.

I was hoping you could help me figure a couple of things out.

I am a little confused about what the knob on the top is supposed to do?

Also, How do I turn off the alarm when I am awake? Is there a snooze button?

Thank you. I appreciate your help.

    Happy holidays!

Hello and welcome...The black knob on top is sleep to music...it is a timer for running the radio and it will auto shut off.

No snooze on this model. Once the alarm goes off you have to manually turn it off with the on/off switch.

Thank you for the prompt response!

It looks like the "alarm control" doesn't match with the "time".

      Is there an easy fix?

Below are the files in pdf format - for easy printout.

    6003manual-min.pdf (1.26 MB)
    6003manual.pdf (7.14 MB)

The only difference in the pdf files is that the first file has been compressed.

The alarm wheels have a certain amount of play in them, especially after many decades of usage. So, they'll never be spot-on with the time to set them off. Even when new they could be a few minutes early or late.
