An idea I have been toying around with for awhile but since I had some motors laying on the table and they have actual markings on them, I figured I might as well record it here as to make it public and not let the info get lost.
Ideally, I would like to set up an overview of which type of motor is mounted in which clock and get the complete. Now that is of course never going to happen, but what is stopping us from trying, right ?
Motor K59 - Copal Model 227 (110v/60hz)
Motor K63 - Copal Model 228 (220v/50hz)
Motor K6Y - Sony Model TFM-C480E (220v/50Hz)
Motor T8Z - Copal Model RP-200 (220v/50Hz)
Motor R67 - Copal Model RP-233 (220v 50Hz)
Copal Model 101/201, no marking, but they are unique since they have a different gear on the outside, the one which connects with the clockwork
That's it for now, perhaps we can make this into a sticky topic and Mr. Moderator can add the info to this post as it is being added.
What I am asking of you is when you have a clock in parts in your hands and you are fairly certain that the motor is original to the clock, check for markings and post it here... Make/model of the clock and marking on the motor + voltage/hz.
Hoping to get lots of information from you guys and I will add as much as I can
