    Sony Digimatic 8FC-69W Operating Instructions

Operating Instructions for Sony Digimatic 8FC-69W
3.5" x 10" sized booklet, with 10 pages. Optional PDF to download on bottom post.

Interestingly under Operating Notes it says:

It is recommended to have the clock lubricated once a year. Ask your nearest SONY Service Station for lubrication.

        Excellent scan!

Lubrication once a year? I bet %99.99 of them never did!

Yes…. great information on my “daily driver” or should I say “daily flipper” that I use as my current alarm clock.

lubricate yearly? That is crazy. Nobody did that. But, it would be a great excuse for being late for work. “My alarm clock is in the shop”

          thanks for sharing the scan

Most if not all of the warranties on these clocks were only one year for repair or replace, so it is a bit weird to see...

Guest , Jumblejeff Actually this oil note reminds me of this site: https://www.petervis.com/Radios/8fc-...-ac-motor.html where the 59w motor is documented to (sometimes) have a removable Philips screw and you put oil into it through there.

That's really interesting! I have yet to see a model here in the US that has that special screw for oil access. Great find!
