The Sony TFM-C450W FM/AM/WEATHER Flip Clock.

This Sony really packs in the electronics with the clock featuring a weather band as well as standard AM/FM. The clock started showing up in advertisements around 1974 and a newspaper advertisement shows it being offered for $24.95. This would be over $100 dollars in today's dollars. It wasn't on of the most expensive models. The Sony 8FC-100W (now known as the X-Men flip clock for appearing in the movie "X-Men: Days of Future Past" in 2014) was advertised at the same time for $49.95.
Sony took to calling their flip clocks "digimatic" early on, and this clock is refered to as having a digimatic clock, but it seems they also tried out calling the alarm clocks "the Alarmists" about the time this clock came out.
If you're into unusually shape flip clock radios, you should consider this very well made and distinctive collectible.
