  • Simple Way To Get Pictures on FlipClockFans.com

This forum has many ways to post photos. The simplest way follows.
Note: the images in this post were put in here using this method.

    1) Click the attachment button on the far right of the posting area ... It look like this:

Name:	attachbutton.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	8.1 KB
ID:	1831

2). Two green buttons will appear below the posting area. They look like this:

Name:	upload.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	16.1 KB
ID:	1832

3). Click the button at the left that says "Upload Attachments"
You will then see the contents of your computer. Find the picture you want to upload and select it.. Then wait. (be patient).

    4) Next you will see information about the upload below the green buttons. It looks like this:

Name:	upload2.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	16.6 KB
ID:	1833

    5) Click the size that you want to appear in your post (Thumbnail, Small, Medium, Large or Fullsize).

You should see the picture in your post.

    That's it!

Considerations: You will not be able to upload huge files. Modern cameras now take pictures with huge file sizes. These images must be reduced with software on your computer on or the web.
Decrease your image size to something reasonable using software on your computer or online..
    https://pixlr.com/editor/ is a good one.

I plan to make more tutorials and videos in the future.

If you have problems, please let me know, but please be specific about what you're trying to do and what steps you've taken.
    Good luck.

You can test all you want in this thread. I can delete anything we don't need here later, but do whatever to get practice.

There is a video following the post below showing how the image there was uploaded.

Hi Mackey, I really hate to ask you this, but is it possible to do a tutorial on using Pixlr? I can't post any of my clock pictures because the files are too big, and can't seem to navigate Pixlr. I should mention I have almost zero computer knowledge. Unfortunately. I'd like to try it myself before I beg someone to help me. Thanks

Of course ! I'd be glad to. I'm a big fan of Pixlr for online image editing quick, easy way to go. I'll be working on this tonight.
              Thanks for asking!

Thank you for the great tutorial. When the fog from the cold meds lifts, I'm going to try it out. I do appreciate it!
