    50Hz/60Hz Switchable Copal Gearbox

    Pictures of the switchable gearbox on a Copal 10-1244-00 motor.
    This is a 1976 Sony ICF-C670W. There is a slot in the bottom of the clock that you can stick a tool in to flip the 50/60 switch on the gearbox.
    There is no voltage switch, it takes standard 120v 60Hz only.
    The copal motor is labeled 10v 60Hz.

    Very interesting. I always wondered if the gearing was accomplished inside or outside if the motor' gearbox.
