Which flip clock should I flip

Hello,

Kind of introducing myself and stepping into the matter in question.

Loong time ago, after watching Groundhog Day with its looping morning alarm clock scene. It got me. (Maybe I am in the loop myself) After so many years, recently I finally started browsing my nose around flip clock world. I narrowed my search down to these two - Both from SONY 8FC-69W https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/sony_8fc_69w8_fc69.html and
TFM-C720W https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/sony_d...tfm_c720w.html

I found both for the same price of 200 and a bit. Do you guys have any thoughts? What would be a better buy? I really like both models and they seem pristine (from the pictures on ebay). I am into fixing stuff, but mostly to do with wood. Have no clue about inner parts of electronics, so for now kind of scared to get another restoration project on my hands, hence looking for good condition variants (hence the price)

I read somewhere, maybe even somewhere on this forum, that the Sony Digimatics were not good prospects due to their motors being hard to fix, don't recall why. I know this post is a few months old, but maybe this will help someone.
