    Caslon RP-161

    Here is a virtually unknown flip clock I was selling at the time of this post. It uses 24-hour Copal mechanism, very similar to the one in my Sanyo RM8400. Originally it had a clear plastic visor, but in my dumb excitement I snapped it in two, thinking it could be easily removed. Oh well. I learned my lesson. Experience points gained.

      Interesting clock! I really like the look and color.
      I'm telling you, I've broke my share of clocks trying to figure how to disassemble them. I've learned that they were never meant to be disassembled for the most part. It's pretty obvious when trying to service or clean these things up.

        Thanks for the kind words, Mackey. I feel dumb to this day. But I'm way more careful nowadays - I pay attention and proceed cautiously, always taking pictures of every little detail before disassembling.
