    Schatz clocks

    G'day, I'm new around here!

    Anyone familiar with these?

The link still seems to work for me, but here's another:

That link works fine. Haven't seen one of those though. Nice looking cyclometer.

Yes one has come up locally but apparently has stopped working, at a reasonable price. Still far enough from me to need to be posted. Would it likely be a simple fix?

Wish I could help, but I don't have any experience with cyclometers. Hopefully someone who does will chime in.

Well, I learned some things as a result of this post.

The Schlatz Typ 95 was apparently made in the 1970s in Germany.

I learned that in German, "Rollzahlenwecker Klappzahlenwecker" approximates our "cyclometer" or "rolling wheel" or even "flip clock". German language posts about retro clocks use this term to refer to all these kinds of clocks (do a Google image search).

The clock is reportedly a "Rarität der 70 ziger" which translates to a "Rarity of the 70's".

No idea if these are easily fixed .... but go for it and let us know! Then you can tell us!

                Rollzahlenwecker Klappzahlenwecker

That sounds like a failed flip clock restoration to me.

"Yeah, I was trying to restore an RC-6025 but I experienced a damned Rollzahlenwecker Klappzahlenwecker".

I tried to pronounce that, but there's way to many consonants.

                    Try this:

                    Rollzahlenwecker Klappzahlenwecker

                      Thanks Mackey

It certainly looks nice. If I get it I'll let you know.

                      Cheers
